Birds are ubiquitous organisms that are popular across cultures, landscapes; and even across research themes. This meeting brings together researchers using birds as a study/model system to understand various biological phenomena. Researchers from a variety of fields, ranging from physiology, chronobiology, endocrinology, behaviour, behavioural ecology, bioacoustics, ecology and evolutionary biology will be a part of this meeting. As the ornithology community in India grows, we hope this gathering will promote interactions and bring new synergies.
