What is a BioBlitz?
Counting Species Through Citizen Science—this is what a BioBlitz is all about. It focuses on finding and identifying the maximum possible species of plants, animals, and fungi in a specific area over a short period of time. This event brings together volunteer scientists, as well as families, students, teachers, and other members of the community.
